Yankee Doodle Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. water
    1/2 c. oil
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. paprika
    dash of black pepper
    1 large can French-style green beans
    2 c. canned English peas
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except beans and peas.
    Add them last. Marinate 24 hours in refrigerator.
    Drain and serve on lettuce. Serves 6 to 8.
