Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. sugar
    1 qt. hot water
    2 small cans frozen lemonade or lemon juice
    2 small cans orange juice
    1 large can pineapple juice
    1 ginger ale
    1 small jar cherries (if desired)
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar in hot water.
    Let cool and add remaining ingredients. Add ginger ale just before serving.
    Makes about 1 1/2 gallons.
