Mincemeat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. cooked lean ground beef
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. dark corn syrup
    1 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    4 lb. apples, ground
    1 lb. raisins
    4 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and add water or cider to moisten until sloppy. Simmer until meats and fruits are tender and flavors are blended. Pack in jars and seal.
