Never Fail Divinity - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. water
3 egg whites
1 c. light corn syrup
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. broken nuts
Preparation

Cook 1 cup sugar and 3/4 cup water until it spins a thread. Slowly add to stiffly beaten egg whites, beating with electric mixer on medium speed.
Cook remaining sugar, water and corn syrup until brittle when tested in cold water.
Add slowly to egg white mixture, beating constantly until stiff.
Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
When cool, cut into 1-inch squares. Store in a tight container.
