Basic Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1/2 c. cold water
Preparation

Mix flour salt and shortening with a fork until shortening is the size of peas.
Add cold water and mix until dough forms a ball.
Divide in 1/2 and roll out on floured board or counter top. Makes 2 (9 inch) crusts.
For prebaked crust place in pie pan and trim edges, prick bottom with a fork and bake at 425\u00b0 for about 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
