Millie'S Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut
    2 (8 oz.) cartons sour cream
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    12 oz. Cool Whip
    1 pkg. Duncan Hines butter recipe cake mix
Preparation
    Bake cake according to directions on package.
    Mix together first 3 ingredients; set aside 1 cup mixture.
    Divide the two cake layers.
    Between the 3 layers (the first layer is placed on plate), place the mixture of coconut, sour cream and sugar.
    Mix Cool Whip with the reserved 1 cup of mixture.
    Frost top and sides of cake. Cover and refrigerate for 3 days.
    May be frozen.
    Quick, good and easy to do ahead.
