Fudgy Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts (if desired)

Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Heat chocolate and margarine in a 2-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted.
Remove from heat.
(Can melt chocolate in microwave according to directions on package, then add margarine and microwave until margarine is melted).
Add eggs and vanilla.
Stir in flour and salt.
Spread in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
Watch carefully, so you do not overbake!!
