Aunt Mary'S Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
4 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 c. milk or orange juice
2 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla or 1 tsp. orange rind (for orange cake)
Preparation

Cream butter well; add sugar.
Add egg yolks.
Alternate milk with flour sifted with baking powder.
Add vanilla, then fold in beaten egg whites.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven. Ice with vanilla or orange icing.
