Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 small onion, chopped
    chili powder
    1 (No. 8) can tomato soup or 5 to 6 regular size cans
    2 regular cans kidney beans
    American cheese, shredded
    salt and pepper
    paprika
    2 c. macaroni, cooked
Preparation
    Brown hamburger over medium heat; add onion and reduce heat. Simmer until brown.
    Add salt and pepper to taste, tomato soup, chili powder and paprika to taste.
    Pour juice from beans into mixture and simmer for 1 hour.
    Cook macaroni; drain.
    Combine macaroni and beans with sauce and simmer another 1/2 hour. Sprinkle with cheese.
    Stir and simmer a while longer.
    Serves 4.
