"Water Whip" Pie Shell - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. (less 1 Tbsp.) shortening
    3 Tbsp. boiling water
    1 tsp. milk
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Add the boiling water and the milk to the shortening.
    Whip with a fork until smooth and thick like whipped cream.
    Sift in the flour and salt.
    Stir quickly with round-the-bowl strokes into a dough that \"cleans\" the bowl.
    Shape into a smooth, flat, round ball.
    Roll between wax paper and fit into pie shell.
    Fill and bake at 425\u00b0 for about 45 minutes.
