Angel Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (9-inch) baked crust
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until frothy.
    Add cream of tartar; continue beating, gradually adding the sugar, until the mixture is stiff. Fold in pecans.
    Spread over 9-inch baked pie crust and bake in 300\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
