Shoo-Fly Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 Tbsp. margarine
3/4 c. molasses
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. sugar
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Sift flour, sugar and cinnamon together. Cut in margarine until it resembles cornmeal.
Combine molasses, hot water and baking soda. Add molasses mixture to moisten, working rapidly.
Pour into unbaked pastry crust immediately. Bake 40 to 45 minutes until filling is set.
