Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 scant tsp. almond extract
1/4 scant tsp. lemon extract
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
1/4 c. milk
3 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation

Cream butter, shortening and flavorings thoroughly.
Gradually add sugar, taking time to thoroughly cream sugar into butter mixture.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
Add alternately with sour cream and milk. At this point, beat only enough to get ingredients well blended. Grease and flour bottom of a 10-inch cake pan.
Pour batter into pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
