Orange Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small box orange jello
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 small container Cool Whip
    1 banana
    nuts
    maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Put jello and pineapple in pan and bring to a boil so jello is melted.
    Stir so it doesn't stick.
    Remove from the heat and let cool until it starts to set, then add container of Cool Whip.
    Add cut-up banana.
    (May also add nuts and cherries, if desired.) Pour into serving bowl and let set overnight.
