Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large head lettuce, shredded
1/2 c. purple onion, chopped
1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
3/4 c. celery, diced
1 large can English peas, drained
1 pt. mayonnaise
3/4 c. cheese, grated
3/4 c. bacon, fried and crumbled
Preparation

Using a 3-quart casserole dish, layer first 6 ingredients in order listed. Top with cheese and bacon. Refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight.
