Rouladen(Steak Rolls) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

round steak
mustard
dill pickles
bacon
onion
tomato paste
Preparation

Take a fairly thin round steak and beat well with a meat cleaver.
Cut into pieces approximately 2 1/2 x 6-inches.
Spread mustard on one side of each piece.
Put a long piece of dill pickle on each piece.
Roll up and wrap with a piece of bacon.
Secure with toothpick.
Brown on low heat in skillet along with small, cut up onion.
Add some tomato paste and hot water.
Cover and simmer until done.
You may thicken gravy with flour if you like.
Serve with rice.
