Rigatoni With Mushroom Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 c. strained tomatoes
    1/2 c. white wine
    1/2 c. Romano grated cheese
    1 clove garlic, minced
    pinch of basil
    15 oz. pkg. mushrooms, sliced
    1 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. heavy cream or half and half
    pinch of nutmeg
    parsley, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 lb. rigatoni
Preparation
    Cook the rigatoni.
    In a large frypan, heat oil and saute the garlic, onion and mushrooms about 5 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients, except cheese.
    Let simmer for 15 minutes over medium heat. Stir occasionally. Drain rigatoni.
    Toss with sauce and cheese.
