Easy Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. cake flour
3 c. sugar
2 1/4 sticks butter, softened
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. lemon or vanilla extract
1 c. warm milk
5 eggs
Preparation

Put all ingredients in bowl; mix until well blended, about 3 minutes. Scrape sides occasionally.
Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Place in \"cold\" oven.
Set temperature at 325\u00b0 and bake for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
Remove from oven; cool in pan 5 minutes.
Run knife around sides and remove to cake plate.
Top can be dusted with 10x sugar or iced with favorite frosting.
