Pennsylvania Dutch Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon, fried
    1 medium onion
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 large can green beans
    5 tsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Brown onion and water chestnuts in hot bacon fat.
    Drain beans, saving 1 cup liquid.
    Mix liquid with rest of ingredients and add to onion.
    Cook and stir until it boils.
    Add beans and crumbled bacon.
    Heat well. Serve.
