Turkey Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground raw turkey
2 (15 oz.) cans tomatoes, cut up (not drained)
2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans kidney beans or pinto beans, drained
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 green pepper, chopped
3 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
3/4 tsp. dried basil, crushed
3/4 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
Preparation

In 4 or 6-quart Dutch oven, cook turkey until no longer pink. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, onion, chili powder, parsley flakes, basil, oregano, black pepper, cinnamon, garlic, green pepper and bay leaf.
(I add some water, about 1 cup).
Bring to boil; reduce heat.
Simmer, covered for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Add beans and mix all together, then simmer about 10 minutes more.
