Banana Yam Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large sweet potatoes
    3 bananas, sliced crosswise
    juice of 2 lemons
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in jackets until tender but firm.
    Peel, slice bananas crosswise.
    Pour lemon juice over sliced bananas.
    Butter a casserole.
    Alternate layers of sweet potatoes and bananas. Sprinkle each layer with sugar; dot with butter.
    Add pecans to top layer of sugar.
    Bake until potatoes and bananas are soft and top of dish is lightly browned.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
