Wedding Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    6 c. water
    juice of 5 oranges
    2 bananas, sliced
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice (unsweetened)
    5 crushed bananas
Preparation
    Combine sugar and water.
    Boil 3 minutes.
    Let cool.
    Add orange juice and 2 bananas, also 5 bananas.
    Freeze.
    To serve, use equal parts frozen mixture (partly thawed) and 7-Up.
    Pour over orange sherbet.
    Serves 30 (12 ounce) glasses or 50 punch cups.
