Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 egg yolks
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. cornmeal
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat the yolks until thick and light.
Gradually add 1 1/2 cups sugar.
Mix the flour and meal with remaining sugar.
Add the melted butter and milk.
Pour into unbaked pastry shell and bake slowly at 300\u00b0 until set.
Makes 2 medium pies or 1 large pie.
