Brown And Serve Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    3/4 c. very warm water
    3/4 c. very warm milk
    1/4 c. shortening
    butter or margarine, soft
Preparation
    Mix 2 cups of the flour, the sugar, salt and yeast in a large bowl.
    Add water, milk and shortening.
    Beat on low speed for 1 minute, scraping bowl frequently.
    Beat on medium speed 1 minute, scraping bowl frequently.
    Stir in enough remaining flour, 1 cup at a time, to make dough easy to handle.
