Hot Peppers In Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. tomato juice
    1 c. salad oil
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    5 onions, sliced
    hot peppers
    salt to taste (if wanted)
Preparation
    Remove the seeds from the peppers and cut in pieces.
    Combine first 5 ingredients.
    Boil 5 minutes.
    Add peppers and boil 3 minutes longer.
    Put in hot sterilized jars and seal.
