Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Sift
    flour,
    baking
    powder and salt into bowl.
    Cut in butter
    and cheese with pastry blender until crumbly.
    Sprinkle water over, mix lightly until pastry holds together.
    Roll into a rectangle
    12 inches by 12 inches on a lightly floured board. Divide
    in\thalf
    lengthwise,
    then
    cut each one of the halves crosswise into
    1
    x
    2 inch pieces.
    Place on a greased baking sheet and bake 10 to 15 minutes until lightly browned.
    Cool on paper towel.
