Banana-Chocolate Chip Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1/2 c. packed, light brown sugar
    2 large, slightly beaten eggs
    1 c. ripe, mashed banana
    1/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 oz. coarsely chopped walnuts
    3/4 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Lightly butter muffin tins.
    Stir together dry ingredients.
    With mixer, beat butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs, then stir in vanilla extract, banana and milk.
    Don't panic when this looks curdled. Add dry ingredients and stir to combine.
    Reserving 2 tablespoons of nuts and 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips for garnish, stir in remaining ingredients.
    Spoon into muffin tins, then sprinkle tops with nuts and chocolate chips.
    Bake 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
    Cool in pan 5 to 10 minutes on a rack.
    Remove muffins and cool on a rack.
