Stuffed Acorn Squash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pork sausage
3 acorn squash
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. American cheese, diced
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

About 2 hours before serving, heat oven to 350\u00b0.
In 10-inch skillet cook sausage until browned; drain.
Cut squash in 1/2 lengthwise.
Remove seed.
Place cut side up in large shallow roasting pan.
Brush inside with margarine.
Combine sausage, cheese, butter, vegetable and salt.
Spoon into squash that has been brushed with butter.
Cover with foil.
Bake 1 1/2 hours or until fork-tender.
Makes 6 servings.
