Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 box raisins (white)
2 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. broken walnuts
2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. boiling water

Preparation

Cream shortening. Add sugar, egg and applesauce. Use a little flour to dredge fruit and nuts. Set aside.
