Chicken Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. diced chicken
    3/4 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. sweet pickle relish and a little juice
    1/2 c. water chestnuts, diced
    1 c. pecans
    1/3 c. sweet green grapes
Preparation
    Cook chicken with 1 teaspoon salt and 3 bay leaves until tender.
    Cool, bone and dice.
    Combine all other ingredients; refrigerate.
    Banana or pineapple may be substituted for chestnuts or pecans.
