Hurry-Up Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs (put in measuring cup then fill with milk)
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. shortening (melted butter)
Preparation
    Put in 8 or 9-inch pie plate and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Delicious served with fresh or thawed frozen strawberries to use as strawberry shortcake.
