Olive Spaghetti With Italian Meat Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 cans (6 oz. each) or 1 can (12 oz.) tomato paste
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can (4 oz.) sliced mushrooms, undrained
    12 oz. spaghetti, cooked and drained
    1 can (4 1/2 oz.) sliced ripe olives
    grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In a skillet, brown beef; add onion and garlic and cook until transparent; drain.
    Stir in tomato paste, water, seasonings and mushrooms.
    Simmer uncovered 15 to 20 minutes, or until sauce reaches desired consistency; stir occasionally.
    On heated serving platter, toss hot spaghetti with olives; pour sauce over.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
