Old Fashioned Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. oleo, softened
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    In a bowl, combine dry ingredients. Mix well.
    Blend in butter and shortening with pastry blender. Combine milk, vanilla and eggs.
    Add to dry ingredients, all at once. Stir until barely moistened.
    Do not overmix.
    Fill muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake 20 minutes.
    Makes 12 muffins containing 200 calories each.
