Hamburger Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. diced potatoes
    1 c. sliced carrots
    1 c. shredded cabbage
    1 c. sliced celery
    2 c. tomatoes
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/4 c. rice
    3 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Brown hamburger and onion; drain.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer at least 1 hour.
    Contains 220 calories per cup.
