Marinated Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. mushrooms, whole or sliced
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. oregano
    1/3 c. wine vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. olive or vegetable oil
Preparation
    Wash mushrooms quickly, dry immediately.
    Mix remaining ingredients together, add to the mushrooms, toss until all pieces are very well coated.
    Let stand at room temperature at least 4 hours.
    The mushrooms are never cooked.
