Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. beef, cut into 1-inch pieces
    flour, salt, pepper and oil
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. diced onion
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    4 carrots, sliced
    4 potatoes, sliced
    1/2 c. peas
    1/4 c. parsley
    4 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Roll
    meat
    in mixture of 4 tablespoons of flour, salt, pepper and
    garlic.
    Brown
    in
    oil.
    Add
    onions.
    Cook for 4 minutes. Remove
    meat.
    Add
    2 tablespoons of oil and brown 2 tablespoons of
    flour
    in
    it.
    Slowly add 4 cups of water and mix until thickened.
    Add 1 teaspoon salt, meat, bay leaf and celery seed. Cover
    and
    simmer
    for 2 hours.
    Add 1 teaspoon salt, carrots and potatoes.
    Cook until vegetables are tender. Add peas and parsley.
