1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. softened butter
3 large egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets.
Cream butter and sugar until light.
Beat in egg yolks and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda and cream of tartar.
Fold into butter sugar mixture.
