Mrs. Murphy'S Fish Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    bacon fat
    1 medium onion, minced
    2 to 3 potatoes, peeled and diced small
    1 lb. fish fillets
    salt and pepper
    2 c. whole milk
    1 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Fry 4 slices bacon in large frypan until crisp.
    Remove bacon and add onion and potatoes and fry for a short time. Add water to cover potatoes and lay fish on top of potatoes. Cook until fish turns white and solid (15 minutes).
