Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. peeled and sliced apples
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. quick rolled oats
    1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (almonds or pecans)
Preparation
    Combine apple slices and 1/2 cup sugar in bottom of 2 quart casserole.
    Mix butter, oats, flour, 1/2 cup sugar and nuts. Sprinkle butter and oats mixture over apples.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour, until topping is brown and apples are tender.
    Serve warm.
    May be topped with ice cream.
