Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    2 c. sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. chopped onion (approximate)
    1/2 c. bread crumbs (optional)
Preparation
    Boil potatoes with jackets on, cool, peel and grate.
    Heat soup and butter. Blend in sour cream. Layer in 9 x 11 buttered baking dish three times with potatoes, onions, cheese and sauce, ending with sauce.\tSprinkle top with crumbs; dot with butter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
