Japanese Mandarin Orange Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (11 oz. each) cans mandarin oranges
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
    1 c. cold water
    18 to 20 ladyfingers, split
    2 c. heavy whipping cream, whipped
Preparation
    Drain juice from oranges.
    Add enough water to make 2 cups liquid.
    Bring to a boil.
    Dissolve lemon jello into hot liquid. Add 1 cup cold water; cool until syrupy.
    Line spring-form pan with ladyfingers (bottom and sides).
    Fold syrupy mixture into whipped cream.
    Add oranges (save some oranges to decorate top). Fill lined spring-form pan with mixture.
    Chill overnight.
    Serves at least 10.
