Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/3 c. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
6 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sour milk

Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar gradually; cream mixture until fluffy.
Add beaten eggs.
Pour boiling water over cocoa.
Sift flour, soda, baking powder and salt together.
Combine the milk and add vanilla and add to mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done.
