Apple Torte--Combine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
3/4 c. melted butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 Tbsp. cornstarch (or tapioca)
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients well, then take 1 cup out for topping. Put the remaining mix into 9 x 11-inch cake pan.
Fill with fruit of choice, about 2 cups will do.
(Use any type of fruit filling you want here.
I have used blackberries, raspberries, huckleberries, peaches, blueberries and cherries.)
Mix remaining ingredients in a separate saucepan on stove.
Boil until clear. Pour over fruit.
Add topping.
Bake about 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
