Onion Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. grated sharp cheese
    1 box (8 1/2 oz.) Jiffy cornbread mix
    1 c. creamed corn
    1 egg
Preparation
    Saute onion in margarine; add sour cream and 1/2 cup of the cheese.
    Set
    aside.
    Combine cornbread mix, creamed corn and egg. Pat corn mixture
    into greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Pour onion mixture on top of cornbread, then top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0
    until
    golden brown, about 40 to 45 minutes.
    Serves 6.
