Crescent Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    2 eggs
    4 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Heat first 4 ingredients in saucepan until warm.
    Add yeast. When yeast is bubbly, stir in eggs.
    Add flour gradually while kneading.
    Place in a large greased bowl and let rise in a warm place for 2 hours until double in size.
    Punch down lightly and divide into thirds.
    Roll 1/3 of the dough into a 12-inch circle. Cut into 8 pieces, like a pie, then roll each piece from the wide end to the pointed end.
    Repeat with remaining dough.
    Place rolls on greased baking sheet and let rise again, 30 minutes or until double in size.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes, but watch carefully so they don't burn.
    Makes 24 rolls.
