German Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
4 eggs
1/2 lb. butter
4 level tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 lb. pecans (to suit your taste)
1 c. raisins (to suit your taste)
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar well.
Add yolks of eggs and beat well. Add dry and then liquid ingredients, small amounts at a time.
Then add nuts and raisins and last fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake 1 hour at 375\u00b0.
Sprinkle 10x sugar on top after baking.
