Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak
    1 can golden mushroom soup
    1/4 c. onions, chopped
    dash of pepper
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 c. canned tomatoes, chopped
Preparation
    Pound steak.
    Cut into serving size pieces.
    In skillet, brown steak in shortening.
    Pour off fat.
    Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 1 1/4 hours or until tender.
    Stir often.
