Marble Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. brownie mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Prepare brownie mix as directed on package.
Spread in greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until well blended.
Blend in eggs. Pour over brownie mixture.
Cut through batter with knife for marble effect.
Sprinkle with chips.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until cream cheese mixture is lightly browned.
Cool; cut into squares.
