Corned Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can corned beef
    1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, crushed tomatoes (optional)
    1 small onion
    4 to 5 potatoes
    1 small can peas or 1/2 c. frozen peas
    6 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Crumble corned beef.
    Cut up
    tomatoes into small pieces. Dice onion and peel and dice potatoes.
    Drain peas.
    Cook all ingredients together until potatoes are done.
    Thicken and serve over bread slices.
