Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 tsp. soda
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Mix together
    flour,
    sugar
    and
    shortening.
    Take out 1 1/2 cups for the topping.
    After crumbs for topping has been taken out, beat the
    eggs, cloves and buttermilk with the soda added, together with
    the
    rest
    of
    the
    crumb mixture.
    Beat well, pour batter
    into
    greased
    pan
    and
    sprinkle the crumb topping over it.
    Bake
    at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
